The good news is that you can’t go wrong with the Upstate which includes the major cities of Greenville and Spartanburg and many smaller towns including Anderson, Seneca, Easley, Travelers Rest, Greer, Taylors, Mauldin, Simpsonville, Ft Inn, Boiling Springs, and Gaffney, just to name a few. You'll find my website to be a one-stop resource for all of your online real estate research. I'm eager to tell you what I know about the local market for condos or homes, or preconstruction, or whatever is most interesting at the moment.

There are numerous cultural and fun events to attend all year round including the Carolina Ballet Theatre, the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and Chorale, Greenville County Museum of Art, The Children’s Museum, The Peace Center for the Performing Arts (offering great symphony and theatrical performances, including Broadway shows) and the Bon Secur Arena, that attracts major recording artists. Greenville has maintained its small-town feel despite rapid growth in the commercial, residential and industrial markets.

The area’s temperate climate and location makes it a wonderful place for residents to participate in year-round activities such as hiking, boating, fishing, golf, and tennis. Whether you like to get out there and play or sit on the sidelines, the area is big on sports. If you like college sports, then you have many selections including Clemson University, University of South Carolina Upstate, Furman University, or Wofford College. Baseball fans can enjoy the Greenville Drive, an AA minor league team affiliated with the Boston Red Sox, playing in a replica of Fenway Park. The area boasts over 100 outdoor parks, one of the which is Falls Park on the Reedy in downtown Greenville and features the only curved, cantilevered pedestrian suspension bridge in the United States. Want to venture a little further from home?  The interstate highway system provides easy access to Atlanta (2.5 hours), Charlotte (1.5 hours) and Charleston (3 hours).

The upstate is home to the only United State BMW manufacturing facility, the North American headquarters for Michelin and numerous other national companies including General Electric, 3M, Lockheed Martin, Fluor Corporation, Milliken, Freightliner, Jacobs Engineering, Electrolux, Robert Bosch Corp, Cryovac, Timkin, and Kohler, just to name a few.
